There are a few things in life I am passionate about. As most of my friends can tell you, gaming is one of those passions. I game. I game hard core. If I like a series enough, I’ll even pre-order to make sure I get a copy of the game when it comes out. And in the worst case scenario, I will even go to a midnight launch party to be one of the first people to get my hands on a game.

So where am I heading with this? At midnight, Blizzard Entertainment Software is releasing their next expansion to their popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft. The new title is Wraith of the Lich King. It will add content to do battle with the Lich king and his minions on the frozen continent of Northrend.

I am super excited. WoW is one the few games I have ever had a long term commitment with. In fact I have been playing the game for 2.5 years, the exact same amount of time my marriage lasted…..Ok that is both awesome and sad at the same time.

The 1996 episode of Law and Order called “Savior” stars Ellen Pompeo and Brooke Smith together about a decade before they would work together on “Grey’s Anatomy”.

So I have been waiting to update to find out the final verdict on my uncle. After extensive surgery attempts to save it, the doctors informed him that they will have to amputate his leg above the knee. The news sucks, but I am thankful that he is otherwise healthy.

I spoke with him on the phone tonight, and he was in good spirits. He even felt good enough to make several off color jokes about his leg. He has always been some what of a prankster.

So I was planning on writing up posts covering my vacation ad the the storm damage from last Sunday. As I was getting ready to start writing the post, I got a phone call from my sister. My dad, my uncle James, and his son Scotty were out for a Sunday afternoon motorcycle ride. James went a little left of center and got clipped by a car. He is currently in surgery. Suddenly I’m not in the mood to write about anything else.

So Hime turned level 70 tonight on WoW. While she is not my first character in the game, she is my favorite and first I have gotten to level 70. Interestingly or sadly enough, it took 19 days, 6 hours, 40 minutes, and 30 seconds to get her to that level. Thankfully that time as been spread over two and a half years. \/\/007!

So John, Trevin, Dan, and I helpped Katy move into her new apartment today. Dan is the landlord and it is next door to Trevin and Dan’s. Afterwards we decided to grill out at their place and play games. So much fun.

So I decided to buy a 3g iPhone yesterday. It totaly rocks!
