Let me start by saying that I absolutely despise Time Warner Cable. I really do. So I find it humorous that yet another of their competitors just picked up the Big Ten Network. With Wide Open West’s announcement that they would be carrying BTN on their basic cable package, Buckeye fans can now turn to Wide Open West, Insight, or Direct TV. Now I know some of you out there are thinking why root for the Big Ten over Time Warner. Well I do because the BTN’s other partner is FOX. Now when you think of the big television networks, FOX doesn’t exactly top the list. Time Warner however tops the cable provider list, and worse yet they are in bed with AOL, the most unholy ISP on the internet. So fuck you Time Warner! Adapt or die! Go Bucks!
